BT Phone Fault
Strangely the internet connection has been good ever since I booked a BT engineer to come and test the line the phone and broadband have been fine. A little bit of a crackle on the phone but broadband has been great.
Anyway, the BT engineer came today and found some rusty wires outside so he's fixed that and all seems even better than before.

We had four Telstra vans (Aussie version of BT) in our road the other day. All seemingly responding to my continuing complaints about my phone lines.
I think things are totaly borked with the phone system up here. But then I do live on top of a mountain...
I think they've repatched the whole mountain, judging by the amount of cabling pulled up from the ground.
My phone connections still a bit shoddy, and I cant get mobile reception :(
maybe I'll get a Skype phone...
Also, and this isnt related to this post, I'd like to point out that the world is a lot older than fifty....
Here's somet that'll make you laugh:
We were out to Diner the other night. I say Diner, I mean a piss-up disguised as a wine tasting evening with food. Anyway, we are chatting to this couple about something or other, and Lisa says to this women who was only a couple of years older than Lisa: "you're only as old as the man you feel"
This womens husband was twice my age....
